Headshots and Portraits
Thursday, 31 January 2008

While figure work is my main area of interest, I do a fair bit of headshot and portrait work. If you are looking for just some headshots or portraits, my rates are very reasonable.
Styles can range from classic and conservative to fun and contemporary. Headshot/portrait sessions typically take 1-2 hours, and involve shooting 100-150 images, ensuring you will have a large selection to pick your favourite images from. The sitting fee for the session is $95. Prices for longer sessions for more involved set-ups or doing more images are available on request.
Print prices:
Paper size Price (Short image) 8x10 $15 ea. 12x15 $35 ea. 24x30 $150 ea. (Long image) 8x12 $16 ea. 12x18 $36 ea. 24x36 $160 ea. (Portfolio) 9x12 $20 ea.
All 12×18 and smaller prints are photochemically processed on Kodak Endura paper for maximum longevity and archival quality. Larger prints will be printed with a professional inkjet printer with archival inks and paper.
Orders of 2 or more of the same print at that same size are reduced by 25% for those prints. Orders of 10 or more of the same print at that same size are reduced by 35% for those prints.
Smaller prints are available — prices are based on the paper sizes and prices above. There is a minimum $5 charge per different “image”, but you can get as many images as you want at whatever size. For example, if you got an 8×12 full of wallet-sized of the same image for $16. If you wanted an 8×12 sheet that had 5 different pictures on it in some combination, then it that would be $25.
Digital files are also available so you can have your own high-resolution file with which to make your own prints. This is a great option if you need to make a large number of prints at different times, and is not something offered by most photographers. Digital files of your pictures are $95 per image that you want.
