Update…
Tuesday, 16 October 2007
First, my apologies for the long lack of updates. Parenthood is still keeping me rather busy, and my to-do lists have kinda spiraled out of control.
The summer also saw a major hiccup in my shooting: During renovation of the building the studio is in, worked managed to disturb some asbestos. The building was shut down for over two months, so I had no studio access for most the summer. I did some portfolio work for Gemini, but my art stuff was on hold.
The good news is that the building is now fully cleaned and re-opened. Since a number of other tenants left during the extended closure, it has also given us (the group of photographers I share studio space with) to opportunity to move to a new space in the same building. We’re very excited, the new studio is going to be quite awesome. We’ve just got a little more fixing-up to do in it, then we can move in there.
And yes, I’m finally back shooting some more!

My to-do list is still long, but I’m still working away on the second book (image selection is more-or-less done, I just need to edit/crop/resize everything). I do want to revamp the gallery a bit here on the site, too — keep the “experimental” gallery, but make a more conventional showcase as well for some less-challenging viewing.
So, please bear with me, lots of good stuff coming…
