Meredith Rose, figure… and flour

Meredith is a baker when she’s not modelling, so we decided to do introduce some flour to part of our shoot. There’s also a good set of dark silhouette/shadow images we shot, too.

I found the flour shots somewhat disturbing, especially since the sunject does not appear happy.

We had a fair bit of fun doing the flour shots, actually. It was difficult to keep the flour out of her eyes and mouth once she was moving around, which probably explains the expression. I do try my best to make sure the model is safe and happy during the shoots

I had the exact opposite response that Doug had. I thought the use of flour was brilliant. Truly original. Something I’ve never seen (and I consider myself something of a connoisseur of the female nude.) In any case I did not see the faintest hint of displeasure in the model’s face. To the contrary, the whole idea seems very interesting and I would have hoped she would have found the experience the same.
You are truly and original.

Hey Alex, I had a good time with the flour shoot.
I’m glad we did the idea, we always seem to be good at playing with food!
We will shoot again soon!

Hi Alex and Meredith Rose, I have to agree with Les, the flour has added an element of child like fun, something that makes me smile inside. I love the image of Meredith brushing the flour away from her cheek while gazing into the camera. Almost like the child who’s been caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Having said that the most powerful image for me has to be 5362 low key. It conjures up so many emotions, the sheer beauty of the female form at its best. One day I hope to aspire to challenge of producing work of this level. Thanks both….
